Roofers Hollywood FL Examine

the Breaking Bad House

We may not know how to build an illegal drug empire, we probably don’t even know chemistry that well either, what we can do is replace and repair a gorgeous roof. One of the most iconic homes in Television history, Breaking Bad, is a home in Albuquerque, NM that fans of the city can actually visit! So our roofers Hollywood FL took a chance to see it for ourselves to make a determination on the quality of the roof and the entire exterior of the home. We provide a brief examination based on google images and from direct episodes of the show. We are big fans of the series and we want to be able to do this examination justice, but we’re also more worried about what Walter White would do to us if we left his home with a bad review. Also, if you’re reading this and you have not watched this tremendous series, take your time and watch it before reading. Spoilers Ahead.

Breaking Bad Season 4 Episode 6 AMC

Looking closely at the Albuquerque Home’s Roof, roofers Hollywood FL found that the materials of the roof are composed of the most common roofing material, shingles. The shingles are made in a 3 Tab Shingle style, which is distinguished by three uniform cutouts, made along the lower edge of the shingles. A light brown color, that sees some discoloration from the wear and tear of the dry heat, aside from this, it can be seen that the roof is in pretty good condition, bearing a few pizza stains. There aren’t any signs of cracked or curled shingles, and based on the age of the home, being originally built in the 1920s, it’s safe to say that the roof is at least 10 years old.

Considering that a plane crashed over the home of Walter White, the character was lucky that debris only crashed into his pool and on his car. If the roof he had had been impacted by the debris or any larger debris, they would have caused tremendous damage to the White residence. Shingles are durable but it is safe to say that they would not be able to withstand the impact of crashing plane parts, if any roof material could, it would be metal. With the money Walter White was making, I’m surprised he didn’t go for an upgrade with a new roof! A metal roof is much more durable and it’s life cycle would last longer. Metal roofs have an increased curb appeal and would be able to have better resilience toward crashed plane debris and flying pizzas. With a metal roof in the weather conditions they were dealing with, it would have reflected sunlight and saved them money on their monthly utility bill.
